The TD of the Month should be:

PROFESSIONAL They maintain high standards in conduct, appearance, and commitment to the league.
PUNCTUAL They start on time, remain focused, and announce blinds/breaks on schedule.
FAIR They treat all players equally, make consistent rulings, and don't play favorites.
FRIENDLY They are approachable and create a welcoming atmosphere for all players.
CALM They remain calm under pressure, de-escalate tensions, and resolve disputes respectfully.
KNOWLEDGEABLE They know the rules, policies, and procedures and apply them consistently.
VISIBLE They remain present and accessible, never leaving players searching for help.
ATTENTIVE They actively observe the tournament and catch issues before they become problems.
PREPARED They have tables set up, materials ready, and everything organized before start time.
DECISIVE They make clear rulings quickly and stand behind their decisions with confidence.

Voting Terms & Conditions

Purpose

This system allows members to cast a confidential vote for the Interstate Poker Club's Tournament Director of the Month.

Voting Period & Winner Announcement

Eligible members will be able to vote from midnight on the 1st day of each month through midnight on the 7th day of each month. Winners will be announced on our social media channels on or before the 10th day of each month.

Eligibility

Voting is open to all current members in good standing. Non-members, banned or suspended members, Tournament Directors, and current employees/contractors are not eligible to vote. Each eligible member may vote once per calendar day during the voting period, either for the same TD or for a different TD each time.

Selection Criteria

The member vote is an important part of determining the Tournament Director of the Month, but it is just one part of the selection process so the TD with the highest number of votes may not necessarily be the final winner. Additional factors such as professionalism, reliability, conduct, attendance, sales, and overall performance throughout the month will also be taken into consideration by management when selecting the winner.

We reserve the right to weigh these criteria as needed to ensure the award reflects the TD who best represents the standards and values of the Interstate Poker Club.

Fair Play & Bribery

Any attempt to bribe, influence, or manipulate a vote or the voting process is strictly prohibited. Members who accept or solicit extra chips, favors, or other incentives in exchange for a vote may face penalties up to and including loss of club membership. Any Tournament Director found to be offering extra chips, favors, or other incentives for votes will be immediately disqualified from consideration and may be subject to additional penalties. The true Tournament Director of the Month would never have to bribe someone to receive their vote.

System Integrity

Any attempt to vote multiple times per day, impersonate another member, falsify credentials, interfere with the voting system, or otherwise exploit the process may result in disqualification and further disciplinary action. The Interstate Poker Club reserves the right to nullify any votes that are found, or reasonably suspected, to have been cast illegally, improperly, or in violation of these rules.

Confidentiality

All votes are strictly confidential. Tournament Directors will only know the total number of votes they received and not who voted for them.

Privacy Policy

Your Member ID and Email Address are used solely to validate eligibility and prevent duplicate voting. No personal information will be shared with third parties.

By submitting a vote, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Voting Terms and Conditions outlined above.
